Jan Underhill, CPHR, CCDP, is the founder and Principal of EmpowHR Consulting. For more than 30 years, she has worked with employers across Nova Scotia helping them navigate the people side of running an organization.
Jan founded EmpowHR to support nonprofit Executive Directors and small business owners who care deeply about their teams but don't have HR support to back them up. Her approach is rooted in genuine care for people, not just policies. Every recommendation comes from a place of wanting the best for both employees and the organizations they work for.
